Why Fee-Only?
There are two other ways to get Medicare help, and both are worth knowing about before you decide what’s right for you.
Licensed insurance brokers
Brokers are paid a commission by the insurance carrier when you enroll in a plan. Many are genuinely helpful, but their advice is naturally shaped by which plans they’re appointed to sell.
SHIP counselors (free)
The State Health Insurance Assistance Program offers free, unbiased Medicare counseling. It’s a great resource, though availability and wait times vary by state and season, especially close to Open Enrollment.
Health Concierge Family (fee-only)
We charge a flat fee for our time, not a commission from a carrier. We don’t sell insurance, so there’s no plan we’re incentivized to recommend. Just an honest look at what fits your situation.
